These are the 50 best places to eat in Phoenix, according to Yelp PHX

PHOENIX — Attention foodies: Yelp has released its latest listing of the top places to eat in Phoenix.

While Yelp titled the list "Top 50 Restaurants in Greater Phoenix," many of the places listed are not necessarily restaurants, but ice cream shops, doughnut shops, gelato shops, coffee shops, and tea houses.

Still, there are some recognizable Valley eateries listed: Kai Restaurant, Little Miss BBQ, Chula Seafood, Cafe Monarch, and Worth Takeaway.

"To ring in 15 [years] with a bang, we’re sharing restaurants that locals love all around town. From frozen treats and authentic Mexican food, to vegan favorites and coffee connoisseurs, this list has something for everyone," Yelp wrote in its blog post (italics included).

Yelp said to make its list it pulled businesses from its "restaurants and food categories" and then ranked them by different factors, including "total volume and ratings of reviews."
