Arizona's best "small-town bar" is a couple hours north of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in the copper mining-turned-ghost town of Jerome.
Earlier this year, Thrillist unveiled its listing of "The Best Small-Town Bar in Every State."
Arizona's claim to fame: Spirit Room.
Located beneath the historic 12-room Connor Hotel on the corner of Main Street, the bar looks like that of an old-time western watering hole.
"We recommend sitting down at the bar and soaking in the Old West vibes, starting with the painted wall mural featuring playing cards and scantily clad dancing women," Thrillist wrote.
According to the Spirit Room's website, it is open "pretty much every day" (hours are 11 a.m. - midnight) and host local music acts most nights of the week.
