A familiar face was on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night, and it wasn't the host.

Phoenix chef, Chris Bianco, of the well-known Pizzeria Bianco, Pane Bianco and Tratto, visited Kimmel's show to promote his soon-to-be released cookbook, Bianco.

He also tried to teach the audience, with the help of Kimmel and actor Billy Crystal, how to make pizza, a staple that has become synonymous with Bianco in Phoenix.

The over nine-minute segment featured Bianco in his prime, fast-talking and passionate about ingredients and where they come from.

"You gotta consider the source, Jimmy," said Bianco. "It's like rumors or tomatoes. No fake news, ya know?"

It led to some funny and entertaining moments.

In one moment, Crystal asks Bianco to explain what "organic" meant before putting his hands in a bowl of canned tomatoes.

"Seriously, you want that?" the James Beard-award winning chef asks in a heavy accent while looking at the audience.

Moments later, Crystal humorously mimics the response. "Seriously, you want that?" as the audience laughs.

In another moment, Bianco is quickly going over the measurements to make the dough and Kimmel interrupts with, "nobody cares," a repeat joke that occurred earlier in the segment.

According to Bianco's website, his cookbook will be released on July 25.

Last year, Bianco was invited to help cater Kimmel's Emmy's after-party.
