GUIDE: Tips, tricks for Waste Management Open

Once again, professional golfers are making their way to beautiful and sunny Phoenix, to take part in the 2016 Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale.

This is your digital guide to enjoy the tournament. Here you'll have the tournament schedule, who's performing at the Birds Nest each night, admission prices, where to park, and tips to be a good spectator.
 

TICKETS:

Monday and Tuesday: free general admission
Wednesday and Thursday: $30 – general admission single-day ticket
Friday and Saturday - $40 – general admission single-day ticket

Those 17 and under are free all week when accompanied by an adult.
Free admission for first responders, military members and veterans. Click here to register.

HOW TO GET TO THE WASTE MANAGEMENT PHOENIX OPEN:

There is FREE public parking for the open with a shuttle to the tournament entrance gates.

From WEST: Park near the Loop 101 at Hayden
From EAST: Park at WestWorld of Scottsdale

Shuttles will run Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.; on Sunday from 7 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Click here to download parking map.

MAKING YOUR WAY AROUND THE COURSE:

Concession and restrooms are located throughout the course. TPC merchandise can be bought at tents near the First Tee and the main entrance.

9 a.m. – WM Phoenix Open Round 3
**You’re encouraged to wear green this day.

Sunday, Feb. 7:
9 a.m. – WM Phoenix Open Round 4

Monday, Feb. 8:
9 a.m. – Post Open Pro-Am

BIRDS NEST CONCERT SCHEDULE:

The Birds Nest will once again be the home of late-night entertainment for the Phoenix Open.

Performing this year are country group Rascal Flatts, country star and Arizona-native Dierks Bentley, Robin Thicke and DJ Tiesto.

The Birds Next will open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The main act will typically take the stage at 8:30 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets.

PHOENIX OPEN 101: TIPS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

  • Dress up and have fun, but when a player is going to take a swing, quiet down. If they make a great shot or sink an eagle or just miss the cup, you can react. Just don’t distract too much.
  • Your will go through security before entering the tournament. Your bags will be inspected. Opaque bags cannot exceed 6x6x6 inches. Clear, plastic or vinyl can’t exceed 12x6x12.
  • The tournament will provide clear bags to carry your stuff
  • Prohibited items (not exhaustive list): backpacks, lawn chairs, seat cushions, pets (service animals are the exception), bikes, video cameras, alcohol, outside food, coolers, computers or laptops, laser pointers, poles, signs, whistles and other noise makers. Click here for FULL list.
  • You CAN bring in sealed bottled water, sunscreen, hat, comfortable shoes, mobile phones and tablets, a still camera with lens small than 6”, umbrellas (no sleeve), collapsible chairs (no chair bag), portable radios, and binoculars (no case). Click here to FULL list.
  • Autographs: It’s recommended to left players finish their round first.
  • NEVER drink and drive. Take a cab, Uber, Lyft or a designated driver.
