What to know about Fountain Hills' Thanksgiving Day Parade 2018

Most people know about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, but did you know there is a parade in Arizona?

Fountain Hills' annual Thanksgiving Day Parade, also known as Parada de los Cerros (Parade of the Hills), will take place on Thursday morning, Nov. 22.

The parade starts at 9 a.m. and will last approximately an hour, according to the Fountain Hills website. 

Nearly 60 floats, marching bands, motorcycles and classic cars will make their way down the streets of downtown Fountain Hills. This year's theme is "Songs of the Season."

Parade route: Starts at El Lago and Saguaro Blvd.; north on Saguaro Blvd.; west onto Palisade Blvd.; south on La Montana Dr., and finishes at Parkview Ave.
