According to Yelp and Buzzfeed, Tempe's Squarz Bakery and Cafe in Tempe takes the whole pie.
Buzzfeed reported that Yelp's algorithm looked at popularity and star rating to determine the rankings.
Steven Gerner founded Squarz in 2011 and began selling pies at local farmer's markets. Four years later, he opened a brick-and-mortar location near Elliot and Rural roads in Tempe, according to its website.
The bakery's menu features meat pies, croissants, fruit pies, salads and soups.
Squarz's Yelp profile has a five-star rating based off 102 reviews at the time of this writing.
