Lady Gaga gave a powerful performance during the 88th Academy Awards to support victims of sexual assault and raise awareness.
Draped in white and seated behind a piano, Gaga gave a chilling rendition of "Til It Happens To You," which was featured in the film, The Hunting Ground.
Proud to stand by my friend @LadyGaga tonight. Pure courage that inspires, challenges us all. #ItsOnUs. All of us. pic.twitter.com/1eee3v0Xd2

She was soon joined on stage by dozens of men, women, boys and girls--each victims of sexual assault. "Survivor" and "Not Your Fault" were written on some of their arms.
Vice President Joe Biden introduced Gaga and encouraged those watching to visit ItsOnUs.org and take the pledge to intervene when situations arise.
