Dog the Bounty Hunter was hospitalized for what appeared to be a cardiac episode over the weekend, TMZ reports.
The entertainment news site says he experienced chest pains and was brought in for treatment.
A representative for Duane “Dog” Chapman said Monday on Facebook, "I can confirm Dog is under doctor's care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all of your well wishes- keep 'em coming.”
TMZ says doctors performed tests and feared it may have been a heart attack, but now say his health issue is believed to be related to stress and blood pressure.
A source reportedly told TMZ that he was released from the hospital Monday night.
In June, Dog's wife Beth Chapman passed away at age 51 after battling cancer.
