If you’re planning to take a big vacation soon, you might check Expedia ahead of booking your flights and find out if your airfare could be free.

The travel booking company is offering 100% savings on flights if you book a package — bundling together flights and lodging — to visit specific cities. Vacation packages included in the sale vary, but some of the destinations could be Las Vegas, Cancun, New York City and more.

The deal will depend on things like how long the trip is, which dates you go and whether you have travel partners.

How do you know if the trip you are planning qualifies for this deal? Simply search for it on Expedia, and if it qualifies, it will be included under the label “Unreal Deal.”

Here’s a sample of what shows up when searching for a five-day trip to Orlando for two adults:

Expedia

It is hurricane season, so it’s not too surprising that Orlando is one of the cities included in Expedia’s offer. The hotels in South Florida are seeking to draw in visitors during the state’s off-season.

Expedia also offers “Daily Deals” that last for 24 hours only. It doesn’t list the deals outright, again requiring users to first search for a destination to see if a deal is there.

Other travel booking companies are also competing for business this time of year, as the fall season pushes students back into classrooms and the weather starts to cool in many parts of the country.

Priceline has Express Deals, which, like the Daily Deals from Expedia, requires a search of destinations to see what sales may exist. Priceline’s discounts are up to 60% off.

Kayak and Travelocity, among others, also provide searches for cheaper flights and vacation packages.

Orbitz has a way to search for travel packages that are $499 and less. And if it’s a cruise you’re longing to take, Costco may be the ideal place for finding deals, as it often lists limited-time promotions online.

Safe travels!
