Three cities in Arizona made the Top 100 Best Places to Live on Livability.com. They examined more than 1,000 cities based in housing, infastructure, demographics, health care, etc.

They asked 1,000 millennials in a survery, “What matters most to you when you’re deciding where to live?” The #1 answer? Affordability.

Ranking the highest for Arizona was Tempe coming in at #18with an overall “livability score” of 645.

It catches people’s eyes because Tempe is home to Arizona State University’s main campus and is family friendly. It earned most of their points in infrastructure because of how easy it is to get around the city.

At #32 was Mesa, Arizona with a score of 631.

The top point earner for this city was housing, followed by demographics. The city’s local obsession is also spring training, where the Cubs reside.

The final Arizona city to make the list was Tucson at #99 with a score of 563.

Home to the University of Arizona, the city earned the most points in the health category because it has “top-notch” air quality. The desert scenery and the amount of outdoor activities gave the city its spot on the top 100 list.
