PHOENIX — In a new survey by Alcohol.org, they found that Arizona has the highest beer tolerance in the country.

Arizona came in at number one with about 4.04 beers to get drunk, Michigan right behind with 4.02 beers, then Maine and Wisconsin with 3.88.
The states with lower tolerance were Hawaii, Idaho, Arkansas, Montana and California.
The national average was 3.45 beers.
The one thing that is great about Arizona is the local breweries in the area. Check out seven breweries in Arizona that won awards at the Great American Beer Festival.
