Spend your weekend at a farmers market in Phoenix

PHOENIX – Every year, Phoenix New Times challenges you, the reader, to choose your favorite spots to eat, drink and play around town in their Readers’ Choice Poll, and every year for the last three years, Your Phoenix CW has brought the poll to life in our Best of Phoenix TV special.

The show airs tonight at 6 p.m. and to get you ready, we’re sharing the finalists in each category. These are the five finalists for Best Farmer’s Market:

Gilbert Farmer’s Market- located in Downtown Gilbert just West of the iconic Water Tower, 222 N. Ash Street, and is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market- Now in its 5th year, this market is located at 3806 N. Brown Avenue in Scottsdale and is open Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Phoenix Public Market- The Open Air Market is located at 721 N. Central Avenue and runs year-round on Saturdays, rain or shine.

Roadrunner Park Farmers Market- Located just northeast of Phoenix near Paradise Valley, 3502 E. Cactus Road, this market is open from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

Uptown Farmers Market- This unique market is usually located indoors on Saturdays and also has an early Wednesday morning market as well. Located at 5757 N. Central Avenue in Phoenix.
