New Dickey's Barbecue Pit owned by brother and sister team opening in Phoenix

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is opening a new location in Phoenix and over the next month it's offering some smoking incentives if you try them out -- including free barbecue for a year for three winners!
 
The new Dickey's on 32nd Street and Indian School Road opens Thursday, Dec. 1.  Brother and sister team Tiffany Oder and Chris Burge own the franchise location and plan to run it with their families.
 
“Dickey’s congratulates Chad Burge and Tiffany Oder on opening their first of many Dickey’s location,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “Dickey’s is growing rapidly throughout the nation and we are proud to continue serving delicious, Texas-style barbecue to the great people of Arizona.” 
 
About that year of free barbecue. Here's how to enter -- use the hashtag #1FreeYearofBBQ on any social media site, order online, or sign up for Dickey’s Big Yellow Cup Club and receive members-only specials. 
 
Here are some of the events planned this week:
 
Thirsty Thursday - All guests receive a free Big Yellow Cup with Dickey’s new reusable travel lid and straw with a purchase. If you come back with the cup, you will receive a 99-cent refill. The first 50 guests through the door will receive a complimentary taste of Dickey’s Bangers & Mash Taco. 
 
Philanthropy Friday - Uniformed first responders will receive half off their meal, and guests can donate to Barbecue, Boots & Badges, Dickey’s charitable foundation. 
 
Singer/Songwriter Saturday - Enjoy live music from local musician Jacob Morris of the Jacob Morris Band. 
 
Kids Eat Free All Day Every Sunday - With every $10 adult dine-in purchase guests will receive one free kids meal.
