KAUAI, HI — The mother and stepfather of two missing children with Arizona ties have been located in Hawaii, according to East Idaho News.com.

Chad and Lori Daybell are suspected of being behind the disappearance of their two kids, Joshua "JJ" Vallow, 7, and his sister Tylee Ryan, 17.

The children were reported missing by extended family members to police in November 2019.

The two were pulled over in the parking lot of Kauai Beach Resort and were served with two search warrants.

The rental car they were driving was seized as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Vallow's children.

Authorities in Rexburg have said they think the children's "lives are in danger."

They have also lambasted Lori Vallow, a 46-year-old Rexburg resident and the adopted mother of Joshua and biological mother of Tylee, for allegedly running off with her new husband, Chad Daybell, in the wake of it all.

Vallow has also received an order from an Idaho judge to bring her children into the Rexburg court by Thursday or face possible charges.

As of now neither Daybell nor Vallow has been arrested.
