Pei Wei Asian Diner LLC has been acquired by PWD Acquisition LLC, an entity owned and managed by Lorne Goldberg, from affiliates of New York City-based Centerbridge Partners LP.
The Irving, Texas-based fast casual restaurant, which has about 4,000 employees, operates 167 company-owned locations under the Pei Wei Asian Kitchen brand, in addition to 26 franchised locations.
The company has more than a dozen locations spread around the Valley.
Goldberg also owns and operates about 165 Asian restaurant concept stores in 23 states. Those concepts include Pick Up Stix, Leeann Chin and Mandarin Express.
