Applebee’s is serving $1 Mai Tais throughout the month of August

PHOENIX- After Applebee’s success with their specialty drink deals like their Shark Bowl cocktail, $1 strawberry margaritas and Dollaritas, they’re back and better than ever.

Applebee’s is now offering $1 Mai Tai cocktails right in time for this summer heat.

During the month of August, the signature cocktail will be available at participating locations but the website recommends to call ahead to confirm they have it.

The rum cocktail is served in a 10-oz mug and bursting with pineapple, passion fruit, orange, black cheery and lime flavors. And of course, it’s served as it should be – with a cocktail umbrella to satisfy your tiki bar vibes.

“Tiki cocktails are the hottest drinks of the season,” Patrick Kirk, Applebee’s vice president of beverage innovation, said in a press release. “Drinking our $1 Mai Tai is like getting whisked away to the South Seas without having to leave the neighborhood. Grab your phones and make your social media friends jealous, because this drink is one you’ll want to be seen with.”
