Barrett-Jackson Auction Co. is canceling its auction planned for June in Connecticut, the latest event victim of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The cancellation comes as the Scottsdale-based company planned to launch a major online auction starting Friday in a move that may not be its last in that arena.
The company announced Monday it was canceling its fifth-annual Northeast Auction, held at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, after consulting with state leaders and health officials.
The auction had been planned for June 24-27.
