More than 100 businesses in Sedona have joined to adopt a set of voluntary standards and safety practices to help stop the spread of Covid-19 as they begin to open again to the public.
The standards, developed through a partnership of the tourist-dependent city and the Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, businesses have agreed to have their employees use personal protective equipment and to post signs encouraging social distancing and similar safety practices.
The effort also urges visitors and customers to wear protective masks and take other measures to avoid spreading the coronavirus.
"Frankly, we’re being a little strict," the campaign's website says. "We’ve flattened the curve, and we want to keep it that way."
