Clarivate AnalyticsPlc, a data and analytics company with dual headquarters in Philadelphia and London, has signed a 30,000-square-foot lease at the Chandler Viridian office building and plans to hire 150 people to work in the Valley.
The Chandler office, called a “center of excellence,” will include finance, administration, sales and customer service workers. Clarivate is establishing two other similar centers, one in London and one in Malaysia.
“We were looking for locations that allow us access to a wide talent pool, coupled with affordable living, flexible language skills and easy travel,” said Jerre Stead, executive chairman and CEO for Clarivate Analytics, in a statement.
“Chandler is an ideal location for our U.S.-based Center of Excellence, and we look forward to starting to recruit local professionals. Here at Clarivate, people are key to our competitive advantage and the foundation of our success.”
