The average computer or tech-related job in the U.S. pays just over $91,000, according to census data, with regional variances.
The median household income for all U.S. jobs is just over $63,000, based on 2018 census data.
The nationwide tech job study was released in November by Comparably, a Santa Monica, California-based workplace data and culture company.
