TUCSON, AZ — Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson has been awarded a $1.03 billion deal by the U.S. Navy.
Raytheon Missile Systems, a subsidiary of the Raytheon Company (NYSE:RTN), won a multiyear contract for Standard Missile-6 production requirements, spares and round design agent.
Work will be performed at a variety of Raytheon's locations worldwide. The company's East Camden, Arkansas, operation will see the most work at 33.2%, followed by Huntsville, Alabama (21.3%) and Wolverhampton, U.K. (13.5%). The Tucson facility will be responsible for 2.3% of the work.
Work is expected to be complete by October 2026. If all options are exercised the total value of the contract could be worth as much as $1.07 billion.
