If you're dreaming of making a hefty salary, that job as a CEO might not put you at the top of the pay scale, according to a recent analysis from Bloomberg that examined data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Bloomberg found that, when examining median annual salaries, the top three professions belonged to the medical field. CEOs took the No. 4 spot in the ranking.
In fact, five of the top 10 jobs with the highest salaries nationwide fell within the medical field.
Family and general practitioners topped the list, earning $201,100, closely followed my physicians and surgeons and then internists.
