PARKS, AZ — A northern Arizona resident fired multiple shots at responding deputies during an hour-long standoff.

The Coconino County Sheriff's Office report that about 3:30 am Tuesday morning, they responded to a 'shots fired' call in Parks, Arizona, about 20 miles west of Flagstaff.

Residents called them saying their neighbor was yelling and firing shots out of his house.

The suspect, later identified as 41-year-old Daniel Cluse of Flagstaff, fired shots at responding deputies, according to CCSO.

Deputies say throughout the hour-long incident Cluse "moved inside and outside the residence, continuing to fire multiple weapons."

At one point while Cluse was shooting at deputies, one deputy returned fire. Cluse finally exited the home and deputies were able to disarm and arrest him.

Cluse was taken for a medical examination and will be booked into the Coconino County Detention facility.
