The "Digital Dan Bandit" responsible for six Valley armed robberies has been captured by police.
James Timothy Hall, 25, is said to be wanted for the armed robberies of six Subway sandwich shops in Phoenix and Tempe since August.
Police say, Hall, armed with a handgun, would show clerks a message on his cellphone reading, "Give me all your money, or I'll shoot you in 20 seconds."
Sometimes the note would be handwritten on paper or a gum wrapper, saying "I have a gun. You have 15 seconds to give me the money."
Hall was recognized by tattoos on his hands, arms, neck and face. In some instances, police say, he tried to use makeup to cover the tattoos.
He was captured by police leaving his mother's home in Glendale after being seen by police loading duffle bags into a car.
Hall reportedly has three prior convictions.
So far he has been charged one count of armed robbery.
