A Facebook argument led to a shot fired and a friendship that came to an end.

Court records show that a Facebook argument between fiends escalated, and one friend put a loaded rifle in the face of another.

Police say that on May 3, two friends were having a Facebook chat when the conversation turned hostile after 18-year-old Ezequiel Bojorquez Valenzuela started talking about dating his friend's sister. Police report that Valenzuela drove to his friend's home near Central Avenue and Roeser Road.

He then allegedly pulled a rifle from his car, loaded it and pointed the barrel in his friend's face.

The friend grabbed the barrel and pushed it away; as he did, one shot was fired, but no one was hit.

Valenzuela was arrested a few minutes later when police found him a few blocks away from his friend's house.

Valenzuela is facing charges of aggravated assault and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
