A 2-month-old abused Goodyear girl suffered from a broken leg and ribs.

Goodyear Police report that Thursday afternoon they arrested 29-year-old Ulysses Garcia Perez near Bullard Avenue and Van Buren Street.

Arizona Department of Child Safety Investigators contacted Goodyear police after doctors at Phoenix Children’s Hospital informed them of a child brought there with a broken thigh, multiple broken ribs and faded facial bruises.

The child's mother brought the girl to the hospital after seeing that she couldn't move her left leg.

Hospital workers reportedly told investigators that the injury to the girl's ribs happened at a separate time.

Perez allegedly admitted to police that he was playing online video games one night and got frustrated with the victim’s crying and reportedly told police, "I really squeezed the hell out of her."

Perez also allegedly recounted another time when he was holding the victim, and bent over to pick something up and caused her leg to turn sideways, causing her to scream.

Perez was arrested for one count of intentional child abuse and one count of reckless child abuse.
