KINGMAN, AZ — A Kingman man has been arrested after a pursuit involving a stolen bulldozer.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 3:15 a.m. Tuesday they got word of a bulldozer traveling down a city street tearing up the asphalt.
Deputies attempted to pull over the bulldozer but instead the driver, Jeremy James Sterling, 35, lowered the blade creating a trench in the road.
MCSO says Sterling damaged a water line and several mailboxes, before going off-road. A DPS helicopter continued to follow the bulldozer until it stopped. Deputies then apprehended Sterling.
The bulldozer was found to be stolen from the Mohave County Road Department.
Sterling, a Kingman resident, was arrested for criminal damage, burglary, theft and unlawful flight from law enforcement.
