MESA, AZ — Mesa police say a man was shot during a road rage incident Tuesday afternoon near Gilbert Road and University Drive.
According to police, the adult male was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Two children were in the vehicle with the victim but were not injured.
An adult male suspect has been taken into custody in the incident.
No other details on what led up to the shooting have been released. The suspect’s identity also hasn’t been released.
