A man has been arrested for allegedly dragging his girlfriend out of his truck, running her over and then leaving without calling for help.
The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office reports that on February 28 they were called to the parking lot of a business near Ellsworth and Germann roads, where they found medical personnel assisting a woman.

The woman reported to deputies that her boyfriend, 28-year-old Kyle Andrew Mitchell, was taking her home when they got into an argument. The victim told deputies "He (Mitchell) pulled me out then ran me over."
Hospital officials told deputies that she suffered a broken right elbow and left broken wrist.
Detectives located and arrested Mitchell who allegedly admitted to pulling the victim out of the truck by her hair, but said she lunged at the truck while he was leaving, causing him to run her over.
He also reportedly told MCSO that he heard a 'thump' and thought he ran over her arm but did not call 911 because he has outstanding arrest warrants.
Mitchell is being held without bond and has been charged with leaving the scene of an injury accident.
