Two former students of a rival school were arrested for spray painting graffiti on an athletic building at Mesa's Dobson High School.
Mesa Police report that on May 16 about 3:30 a.m., they were called by security to Dobson High School, near Guadalupe and Dobson roads.
There they found two teenagers, 18-year-old Michael Kenneth Young and a 17-year-old, running. One of them had a tire iron.
At the school, police reportedly found two secured concession stands that had been broken into, with multiple items stolen, including spray paint.
Young's partner was allegedly found with spray paint cans in his backpack, which matched the colors of the graffiti located at the school.
Police say there were numerous drawings of male genitalia on the track, goalposts and other buildings.
Both suspects allegedly told police that they didn't hate Dobson High but had gone to Westwood High School before dropping out.
Police estimate the damage to be at least $2,000.
Young has been charged with burglary and criminal damage.
