MESA, AZ — A man wanted for the murder of a teen in Missouri has been found and arrested in Mesa.
Mesa police along with U.S. Marshall's and the Arizona Wanted Violent Offender's Task Force located and arrested Ke' Shuan "Tank" Jones, 18, in Mesa on Thursday near Val Vista Drive and Southern Avenue.
Authorities say Jones attempted to run when contacted, around 5 p.m., and he was taken into custody after a short foot chase.
Jones has been charged in St. Louis County for armed criminal action and first-degree murder in the shooting death of 19-year-old Koreyion Brown on May 13.
According to the St. Louis Post-dispatch, his body was found in a lot behind a vacant building in Wellston, Missouri, just outside St. Louis.
Jones is being held without bond, awaiting extradition back to Missouri.
