WINSLOW, AZ — Authorities in northeast Arizona say a wanted suspect who taunted law enforcement online has been arrested.

Tuesday, the Navajo County Sheriff's Office said 27-year-old Jeffrey Lawrence, from Winslow, was wanted by adult probation officers for violating the terms of his parole by possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Lawrence subsequently authored an anti-police post on Facebook.

"Remember, if you are wanted by the police try to refrain from posting trash talk on Facebook unless you want attention drawn to yourself," the sheriff's office wrote in a post announcing Lawrence's arrest.

Detectives apprehended Lawrence, who remained in the Navajo County jail as of Tuesday afternoon.
