A man is dead and another is in custody after a shooting near 19th and Northern avenues Tuesday night, according to Phoenix police.
Phoenix police say it happened just after 6:40 p.m.
Fire officials pronounced a man dead at the scene.
Police say it is unknown if the other man was involved in the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
