BUCKEYE, AZ — A wrong-way driver in Buckeye reportedly told police that he had ten drinks in two hours.
Buckeye police report that on February 24, they arrested 44-year-old John Allen Vigh near Sun Valley and Tartesso parkways.
Police say Vigh was seen going northbound in the southbound lanes of the divided parkway.
Vigh had a reported blood-alcohol level of .230. He allegedly told police that over two hours he consumed five 16-ounce cans of beer and five 16-ounce drinks of Jack and Coke.
Vigh has been charged with aggravated DUI.
