A Valley man is facing assault and endangerment charges after a traffic collision earlier this month.
Phoenix police report on November 19, 30-year-old Jason Defreitas was intoxicated when he pulled out into the street near 22nd Street and Camelback Road.
Police say he collided with another vehicle, causing it to flip on its side.
The driver of that car suffered serious injuries in the crash.
Police say Defreitas had a breathalyzer reading of .200.
Defreitas reported that he is a supervisor at a local hospital.
