GLENDALE, AZ — Investigators seize over $500,000 in drugs from a Glendale man who police call a meth cell leader.

Tempe police identified 29-year-old Orlando Bueno Hernandez as someone distributing meth and heroin in the valley for the past three months.

Last week a search warrant was served at his home near 75th Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Glendale.

Court documents show that police located 95 pounds of meth and 2.5 pounds of heroin.

The estimated street value of the drugs is over $500,000.

Hernandez allegedly told police that he agreed to sell the drugs because he was struggling to find employment.

He is being held on a $100,000 bond on charges of conspiracy, narcotic drug possession and illegally conducting an enterprise.
