PHOENIX — A Phoenix man was caught by investigators after selling fake Rolex watches to undercover officers.

On December 6, Phoenix police arrested 45-year-old Emilio Blesa at his home near Tatum Boulevard and Thunderbird Road.

A private investigator hired by Rolex allegedly bought two fake Rolex watches from Blesa for $100.

Police say the watches reportedly had counterfeit Rolex markings on them.

Police searched Blesa's vehicle and allegedly found nine additional fake watches.

Had Blesa been in possession of real Rolex watches, their retail value would have been $150,000.

Blesa has been charged with counterfeit marks, police say.
