MESA, AZ — A man has been arrested after stealing $15,000 in stolen golf cart chargers from a Mesa golf resort.

Mesa police report that on January 24, 39-year-old Brock Vinson Patton and two others broke into the Arizona Golf Resort near Power and Broadway roads.

They reportedly stole $15,000 worth of golf cart chargers from the facility. Surveillance video allegedly shows them taking the chargers.

Police say they went to numerous golf course locations in Mesa to sell the chargers for $100 each.

Police say they weren't very successful, selling only four of them for $40.

Four days later police located Patton at Ellsworth and Baseline roads in possession of multiple golf cart chargers.

He has been charged with burglary and trafficking in stolen property.
