TEMPE, AZ — Police catch a man after touching himself inside an ASU library.

ASU police report that late Friday night they were called to the Nobel Library near McCallister Avenue and University Drive.

A female victim described to police that a man was touching himself next to her on the third floor of the library.

Police located 25-year-old Edrick Lassalle Soto on the third floor and arrested him after a struggle.

The victim reported to police that she was studying on the third floor and became suspicious when Soto sat down next to her, even though there were plenty of other seats. She soon realized Soto was touching himself under his pants. She looked at him and left the area to call the police.

Police say Soto is an investigative lead for similar incidents at the Nobel library.

Court documents show that this is the second time in six months that he has been arrested on sex charges.

He is being held for public sexual indecency.
