A man was caught trying to break into a place that most people on the inside are trying to leave.
Around midnight on November 24, Phoenix police responded to Alhambra Correctional Facility near 24th and Van Buren streets.
A man, later identified as Christian Lee Cly, age 22, was reportedly stuck on the razor wire fence surrounding the prison.
Prison personnel managed to get Cly off the fence and detain him for police.
Police say Cly wasn't escaping, but instead, was trying to enter the facility.
Cly is now being charged with criminal trespassing.
