GLENDALE, AZ — A man has been charged with stealing 100 video games from a Glendale library.

Glendale police report that on November 26 three suspects entered the Glendale Foothills Library, near 57th Avenue and Union Hills Drive, and stole two binders with about 100 video game discs inside.

Police say the games are worth about $3,200.

On December 4, a library manager contacted police after reportedly seeing the stolen games on OfferUp. Police say the Offer Up account was listed to Walter Travis Goodman, 28. Court records show that many of the games in the advertisement still displayed a label saying, "Glendale Public Library."

Goodman resembles one of the suspects shown in surveillance video taken by the library, according to police.

Police say Goodman still had 68 of the games and sold another 22 games to GameStop.

Goodman allegedly admitted to stealing the games, telling the police, "I just went behind the counter and took them."

He has been charged with burglary and trafficking stolen property.
