PHOENIX — A Chinese national decided to take a walk on the taxiway at Sky Harbor International Airport.
Phoenix police report that on April 17 about 11 p.m. a man walked through an alarmed door at Terminal 4 onto the tarmac.
Police say, Zidong Wang, 45, a Chinese citizen walked across two active taxiways and wandered around the restricted area for about 30 minutes before he was contacted by employees.
Wang later told police that, "he just wanted some fresh air," according to court records.
Wang has been charged with criminal trespassing.
