A woman recorded multiple threats allegedly made against her by her husband, one of which involved a hammer and a rope.

Glendale police report that on October 6, they responded to a domestic violence call near 83rd and Glendale avenues.

Louis Gasper Chavez, 38, was arrested for assault and threats involving a firearm.

The victim, Chavez's wife, told police of a long history of abuse and threats, some of which she recorded.

In the video, police say, Chavez is standing a few feet away from the victim holding a hammer and rope.

He allegedly raises the hammer three times while making threats against her. In one instance, he reportedly told her "she will end up on a breathing machine."

When asked about the aforementioned threat, Chavez allegedly told police that, "he had zero recollection of the incident."

Chavez has been charged with aggravated assault.
