PHOENIX — A naked man was allegedly caught keying a car in central Phoenix.

Phoenix police report that on June 7 they responded to 7th Street and Indian School Road for a report of a naked man walking around.

When police arrived they saw a naked man, David Scott Laney, 53, standing in front of a blue car, scratching the hood with a pair of scissors.

When Laney saw the police, he started walking away. He later reportedly threw the scissors away.

Police soon arrested him.

Police say Laney did about $2,000 worth of damage to the car.

He's been charged with criminal damage and indecent exposure.
