PD: Neighbors pursue burglar who stole $30,000 worth of property from Glendale home

GLENDALE, AZ — Neighbors pursue a burglar who stole $30,000 worth of property from a Glendale home including 21 guns.

Glendale police report that on January 3 they arrested 44-year-old Scott Patrick Hart at his home near 75th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

While serving a warrant at the home police reportedly found $30,000 worth of property stolen on December 26 from a home about 1 mile away.

A witness to the burglary saw a man in his neighbor's garage.
He then left in a vehicle.
Another witness pursued the vehicle and got a license plate number.

Police say that vehicle is owned by Hart.

In Hart's home police reportedly found multiple stolen items including 21 guns, jewelry, Christmas decorations, and personal financial data belonging to at least four victims.

Hart has been charged with aggravated identity theft and burglary.
