PEORIA, AZ — A Peoria mom has been arrested for extreme D.U.I., after allegedly driving with three children in her car during a non-injury crash.

Peoria police report that on September 19 they responded to a two-vehicle crash near Lake Pleasant Parkway and Deer Valley Road. At the crash, police reportedly found Kara Anne Stowe, 28, was driving one of the vehicles with her three children inside.

Police say all the children were under six years old.

Court records show that according to a breathalyzer test, Stowe's B.A.C. was .274, more than three times the legal limit.

Police say family members were contacted to take the children from the scene.

Stowe has been charged with multiple counts of extreme D.U.I.
