A man accused of possessing child pornography was seen in other photos interacting with a victim, police say.
Phoenix police report that on November 21, they arrested 29-year-old Justen Arthur Balensiefer at his home near 56th Street and Thomas Road.
In September, investigators received a cyber tip saying 37 files containing child porn were downloaded to an internet account in Phoenix. Investigators traced the account to Balensiefer.
Police reviewed a sample of the videos and confirmed the existence of child pornography.
Police say also found "non-criminal" photos and videos of Balensiefer interacting with a girl with light brown hair who appears to be about 7 years old.
On November 21, police received another cyber tip related to Balensiefer. In this file, police reportedly found a sexually explicit photo of what appears to be the same 7-year-old girl.
Upon his arrest, Balensiefer allegedly admitted to owning the tablet associated with the account where investigators found the pornography.
Balensiefer has been charged with ten counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
