PHOENIX — A Phoenix step-father chased away a man who reportedly molested his teenage step-daughter in their home recently.

Phoenix police report that on December 7 a man, later identified as Blade Rain Braveheart, age 32, forced his way into a home near 7th Avenue and Indian School Road.

He contacted a girl in the home under 15-years-old asking for water and money.

The girl gave him some water, then asked him to leave, as she was late for school.

Instead, Braveheart allegedly followed the girl into her bedroom and molested her.

When the victim yelled for him to stop, her step-father awoke and chased him out of the home.

Police say DNA evidence left at the scene linked Braveheart to the crime.

Department of Corrections records show that Braveheart previously served 10 months in prison for aggravated assault.

He was located four days after the sex assault, after checking into a behavioral health clinic in Glendale.

Braveheart has been charged with child molestation.
