PHOENIX — Phoenix Police captured a man seen chasing a victim while holding a hatchet.
Phoenix Police report that on December 27, at about 2:45 a.m., they responded to a Circle K store near 40th Street and Washington Street for an assault.
Witnesses reported to police that Robert Goodman, 60, was chasing a man while holding a hatchet after hitting him several times.
Police reportedly found the victim bleeding from the face. They also say store surveillance video confirms the witness accounts, and they found Goodman in possession of the hatchet.
Goodman has been charged with aggravated assault.
