A suspect has been arrested and is accused of six armed robberies in ten days in Phoenix.
Phoenix Police report that from May 7 to May 17 Gia Hasani Spicer, 28, robbed six businesses including Circle K stores and Subway restaurants.
Surveillance video and a report from a witness shows that in each case a woman would enter the business, display a gun, demand money from the register and leave on foot.
The suspect would cover her face with a bandana or shirt and wear dark framed or aviator-type sunglasses.
Police say that on May 21 Spicer's luck ran out when an officer spotted a woman matching the description waiting outside a gas station near 23rd Avenue and Bell Road.
The officer approached Spicer who was wearing the same clothing shown in one of the robberies. She was reportedly holding a toy handgun in her waistband.
Although Spicer denies committing the robberies, police say they found more clothing matching the clothing worn during the robberies and witnesses identified Spicer as the suspect.
Spicer has been charged with multiple counts of armed robbery and burglary.
